Threat Awareness, Response & Contingency Planning Workshop

The TARCP workshop is delivered by former military and Government security instructors with a wealth of experience and operational case studies who also understand the challenges within the business environment. The programme is tailored to the client’s objectives and we actively encourage the joint input and presentation from the organisations Security and Business Continuity teams as this puts all the activities discussed in the context of the organisations existing protocols and procedures. The following areas will normally form part of the workshop programme;

  • A current Threat Update
  • Understanding Threat and Vulnerability
  • Dynamic Risk Assessment
  • Methods of attack and example case studies
  • Contingency Planning
  • Syndicate based mini tabletop scenarios

“Power of Explosives” Live Demonstration

Uniquely there is a “Power of Explosives” live range demonstration, culminating in a full scale car bomb. The short video below is taken from workshop showing the detonation of a VBIED.

The intention is not to sensationalise the threat, but to help attendee’s to develop an appreciation of the power and capability of such devices, to enhance preparedness and response, and to make sure that attendee’s come away with an intimate appreciation of why security and continuity procedures are in place, becoming internal champions within your organisation.

The Key Benefits

Regular awareness training is crucial in developing a positive approach to security, resilience and business continuity. The challenge is making this engaging, original and enjoyable. Your staff should come away having learnt some practical skills and have much more confidence about how they should respond, and importantly, “buy in” to the existing procedures you have in place.

Ensuring your staff has the knowledge and tools to carry out their responsibilities through regular training and awareness demonstrates a proactive culture of corporate responsibility and duty of care.
